Crocs is 10!

It’s already been 10 years? This summer, we’re celebrating a big birthday– and we couldn’t have done it without our fans.  We thought we’d take a look back on some of the fun moments that make up our history:

Our start: Crocs™ clogs are born on a boat by three friends on a sailing trip.

2002 | Our Debut

Crocs debuts at the Ft. Lauderdale boat show. Clogs are thrown at passersby, demonstrating how light they are. Despite some funny looks, all 1,000 pairs sell out.

2003 | For the Ladies

Crocs introduced its first style specifically for women, the Nile. We've now grown to offer hundreds of comfortable, on-trend styles for ladies!

2004 | Our First Shop

Our first mall kiosk opens. Today, Crocs has more than 400 stores around the world.

2005 | A Logo, A Material,  A  Signature Feeling

We introduce the Crocs logo and call it "Duke"; the nickname of one of our founders. Crocs trademarks Croslite™ material, the technology behind our signature feeling and still inside every Crocs shoe. The CrocsRx collection is also introduced in 2005 to help people with foot problems feel better.

2006 | The Crocs Charm

Crocs purchases Jibbitz, a company started by a woman and her family who decorated their Crocs clogs with buttons.

2007 | Crocs Get Cooking

Crocs enters partnership with Mario Batali, and creates his signature orange shoes, the Batali Bistro.

2008 | Crocs Cares

Crocs starts SolesUnited℠, now known as Crocs Cares℠ . Since 2008, more than 3,000,000 pairs of shoes are donated to children and families around the world.

2009 | Work it Out

Crocs introduces Prepair™ collection, engineered to feel good before and after workouts.

2010 | New Kicks

Crocs introduces incredibly light Hover Sneakers.

2011 | Crocs Gets Fun in the Sun

Crocs Chameleons™ are introduced - innovative shoes that change color in the sun.

2012 | On the Green
