Crocs, Inc. Introduces New Golf Shoe Collection

New styles developed with world-renowned golf instructor Hank Haney

Niwot, Colo. – September 14, 2011 –Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) today announced a new golf line designed in partnership with internationally-recognized golf instructor Hank Haney. The Crocs Golf with Hank Haney collection will launch in the spring of 2012 and feature a number of men’s and women’s styles that can be worn both on and off the course.

The new collection strikes the perfect balance of utmost comfort for which Crocs shoes are known, with technical engineering for the casual golfer.  Each of the four Crocs Golf with Hank Haney styles were designed with input from Haney based on his experience over the past 35 years instructing more than 200 touring professionals from the PGA, LPGA, Champions, European, Japanese, Australian and Asian tours.

Crocs Golf with Hank Haney provides an alternative to traditional golf shoes for the recreational player. All of the styles feature Croslite™ material midsoles that provide form-to-foot cushioning not found in any other golf shoe.

The new styles in the Crocs Golf with Hank Haney collection include:

  • Men’s Preston (MSRP: $99.99, sizes M5 – M13). Featuring premium water-resistant leather upper and classic styling, this shoe offers players a lightweight design that increases flexibility. The Preston will be available in Espresso/White, Espresso/Khaki, Black/White, Charcoal/Pumpkin, White/Parrot Green and Black/Sea Blue.
  • Men’s and Women’s Bradyn (MSRP: $99.99, sizes M5 – M13 and W4 – W11). With the look and feel of a sneaker, the Bradyn is highlighted by a water-resistant leather upper that works both on and off the course. The men’s Bradyn will be available in Black/Parrot Green, Espresso/White, Navy/White and White/Sea Blue. The women’s Braden will be available in White/Fuchsia, White/Turquoise and Electric Blue/White.
  • Men’s Drayden (MSRP: $89.99, sizes M5 – M13) With a breathable CrosMesh™ upper, the Drayden allows for cooling ventilation on warm days, making it the perfect shoe for warm golf climates. The Drayden will be available in White/Parrot Green and White/Navy.
  • Men’s and Women’s XTG Pro Sandal (MSRP: $79.99, sizes M7 – M13 and W4 – W11). A truly comfortable golf sandal, the XTG Pro has an innovative 3-point adjustable strap system for a secure fit. The men’s XTG Pro Sandal will be available in Espresso/Black and Sea Blue/White and the women’s XTG Pro Sandal will be available in Sea Foam/White.

Crocs Cares℠ program recognized for global shoe donations and community support

Niwot, Colo. –August 18, 2011 – Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) today announced that the company has been awarded the ‘Do Good’ Stamp from Ladies’ Home Journal. The ‘Do Good’ stamp is given quarterly to corporations that are dedicated to doing good and making the world a better place. The award is in recognition of Crocs’ corporate social responsibility program, Crocs Cares℠, which is focused on making a difference in the lives of children and families in need through initiatives that positively impact employees and local and global communities.

Crocs is recognized with the ‘Do Good’ stamp in the Lades’ Home Journal September 2011 issue, which highlights the work of Crocs Cares℠ in support of the health and wellbeing of children and their caregivers in financially depressed communities and those impacted by natural disasters. Since the launch of Crocs Cares℠ in 2007, Crocs, has donated close to three million pairs of shoes in more than 40 countries.  Most recently, Crocs donated more than 100,000 pairs of shoes to Japan, in conjunction with Feed the Children, in the wake of this year’s devastating earthquake and resulting tsunami.

Crocs, Inc. Showcases Product Evolution at WSA Show

Niwot, Colo., July 28, 2011 – Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX), revealed its new spring/summer 2012 footwear line at the World Shoe Association (WSA) trade show in Las Vegas this week. The new line, which includes more than 40 styles, features Crocs’ signature comfort combined with innovative designs that demonstrate the evolution of key collections. Retailers can view the new 2012 styles at the Crocs WSA booth (#5018) at the Sands Expo Center from July 27-29, 2011.

Highlights of the 2012 styles include evolutions of Crocs’ 2011 Translucent and Sneaker collections. Enhancing both the look and performance, all of the new styles integrate Crocs’ proprietary Croslite™ material with eye-catching design elements. Crocs will also offer spring/summer 2012 styles in its innovative color-changing Crocs Chameleons™ collection, along with the Ocean Minded™ by Crocs and YOU by Crocs™ collections.

Crocs, Inc. Announces Changes to Board of Directors

NIWOT, COLORADO – June 29, 2011 – Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) today announced that Richard Sharp, chairman of the board of directors, has retired from his position and from Crocs’ board of directors, following a leave of absence in December 2010.  Thomas Smach has been appointed chairman of the board, effective immediately. Doreen Wright has been appointed to the board, also with immediate effect.

Mr. Smach commented, “Rick’s leadership has been a tremendous benefit to the company and the board over the past several years.  Serving as chairman since before our initial public offering in 2005, Rick has thoughtfully helped us work through numerous challenges and critical decisions, and he will be greatly missed.  We wish Rick and his family all the best in the future.”

Thomas Smach has served as a member of Crocs’ board of directors since April 2005 and stepped into the role of acting chairman in late 2010. Mr. Smach is a founder and partner of Riverwood Capital Management and a former senior executive with Flextronics, Inc. where he served as chief financial officer from 2005 to 2008 and senior vice president, finance from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Smach is a certified public accountant and serves on the board of directors of ADVA AG Optical Networking.

The Company also announced that Doreen A. Wright has been appointed to the Crocs’ Board of Directors. Ms. Wright served as senior vice president and chief information officer of Campbell Soup Company [NYSE: CPB] from 2001 to 2008 and executive vice president and chief information officer of Nabisco Inc. from 1999 to 2001.  She currently serves on the board of directors of Dean Foods [NYSE: DF] and Citadel Broadcasting Corporation and is a former board member of The Oriental Trading Company, Conseco, Inc., and The Yankee Candle Company.

“We are very excited to welcome Doreen to our board of directors,” said Mr. Smach. “With her information technology (IT) experience and proven leadership with global organizations, we believe she will be a great asset to the board and to Crocs.”

Donations made to Missouri and Alabama families in recent months

NIWOT, COLORADO – June 13, 2011 – Today, Crocs, Inc., in partnership with Feed The Children, is again helping thousands of victims affected by the recent devastating tornados in Missouri by providing disaster relief items for distribution by Operation Compassion to those in Joplin. This follows a donation last month to the Birmingham Salvation Army for tornado survivors.

In recent months, Crocs along with long-standing partner, Feed The Children, has sent trucks loaded with supplies and more than 5,000 pairs of Crocs™ shoes to help those in impacted by these disastrous storms. Families in both regions are receiving basic necessities including food and other disaster relief items. Additionally, as many survivors were left with nothing more than the clothes on their back, Crocs is providing footwear for survivors.

“At the foundation of Crocs Cares℠ is the simple notion of helping those in need,” stated John McCarvel, President and CEO of Crocs, Inc. “Assisting our employees, friends and family as they get back on their feet is a top priority following these devastating storms.”

Niwot, Colo. – June 10, 2011 – Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) today announced Shelly Dana of Highlands Ranch, Colo., as the grand prize winner in the New Crocs, New You wardrobe makeover contest. Dana was chosen as the winner from ten struggling fashionista finalists who submitted videos explaining why they most deserved a fashion-forward, toe-to-head makeover in New York City with national style and beauty expert, Jenn Falik.  Visit www.crocs.com/newyou to watch a video of Dana’s transformation.

From May 4 to 20, 2011, online voting narrowed the 10 finalists down to just one. Ultimately, Dana’s story of her past battle with breast cancer, as well as her challenges losing weight after having two children, helped her nab the top prize. In the video, Dana recounts how after successfully combating breast cancer, losing a good deal of weight and undergoing a breast reconstruction surgery, she was left without clothes that fit. Through the contest, she hoped for a chance to build a wardrobe that would help her celebrate her new body. All of the finalists’ videos can still be viewed at on the New Crocs, New You website.

As the grand prize winner of the New Crocs, New You makeover contest, Dana and a friend were whisked away in early June to New York City for a toe-to-head makeover. During her trip to New York City, Dana was pampered at Marie Robinson salon with a haircut, color and style, and makeup application and lesson. She also went on a shopping spree that included a stop at National Jean Company, where Falik shared tips with Dana on how to update her wardrobe for summer and dress for her new body.

“During our time shopping together, Shelly and I talked about ways women can take their warm-weather wardrobe to the next level and dress for their body types,” said Falik. “For example, with simple, on-trend purchases in bright colors, like the new Crocs transluncent styles, any woman can update her summer style, even on a limited budget.”

Meeting follows record setting 1st quarter and celebrates the future of the company

Niwot, Colo. – May 27, 2011 – Today, Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) wrapped up its inaugural global sales meeting in Denver, Colo.  Crocs employees from more than 50 countries attended the 2012 sales meeting to preview next season’s new product offerings, fortify the company’s forward momentum over the past 18 months and to kick off Crocs’ 10th anniversary.

The meeting’s theme, “10+, Let’s Make History Again,” highlighted the company’s heritage, while focusing on the company’s future. These themes were echoed by the meeting’s keynote speaker, Scott Bedbury, a former marketing executive for Starbucks and Nike and author of A New Brand World; 8 Principles for Achieving Brand Leadership in the 21st Century.

“Crocs is well poised to take its brand to the next level,” said Bedbury.  “The next year will be a time of opportunity and expansion if it can further diversify product collections and strengthen its marketing efforts around the world.  The brand has achieved world-wide recognition in a short time and with Crocs innovative style and business approach – they are evolving into a true lifestyle brand.  ”

Contest entries contributed to a $50,000 donation from Crocs to Dress for Success Worldwide to help disadvantaged women thrive in the workplace

Niwot, Colo. – May 4, 2011 – Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) today announced the ten finalists in the New Crocs, New You wardrobe makeover contest and is inviting consumers to help select the grand prize winner by judging videos from each finalist sharing why they believe they deserve the makeover. The contest was inspired by Crocs’ own fashion-forward makeover, which is evident in its stylish spring women’s shoes.

Struggling fashionistas from across the country entered the New Crocs, New You contest for a chance to win the grand prize toe-to-head makeover in New York City with national style and beauty expert, Jenn Falik. The entrants were narrowed to ten finalists who then created videos telling the world why they deserve the New Crocs, New You makeover. The finalist videos can be viewed now at www.crocs.com/newyou.

The finalist videos will be available for viewing and judging through May 20, during which time Crocs is asking for your help to pick the winner by ranking one or more of the videos. Each day during the judging period, Crocs will randomly give away one pair of new Crocs™ shoes to a consumer just for helping judge the finalists.

In addition to announcing the New Crocs, New You finalists, Crocs also announced today a $50,000 donation to Dress for Success Worldwide, which was driven by donations made to the organization for each entry into the contest from March 21 to April 15, 2011. The international non-profit organization plans to use the donation from Crocs to help provide disadvantaged women with the clothing, guidance and tools necessary to succeed in work and life.

New Translucents styles from Crocs inspired the “New Crocs, New You” wardrobe makeover contest. The styles feature the signature comfort of Crocs™ footwear with a fashion-forward look, perfect for styling up warm-weather wardrobes. A number of these new styles include a modern take on classic silhouettes complete with translucent, spring-inspired colors. All of the new styles are available for $49.99 or less.

Crocs Chameleons™ shoes to launch in mid-May with exclusive pre-sale

(NASDAQ: CROX) today announced the launch of Crocs Chameleons™, a new color-changing shoe line.  The new collection combines Crocs’ proprietary closed-cell resin Croslite™ material with photochromic technology for the first color-changing technology in molded footwear.  The Crocs Chameleons™ shoes will be available to the public starting on Friday, May 13 online and at Crocs retail locations.

Crocs Chameleons™ shoes change from a translucent base color to a brilliant bright color within seconds when exposed to sunlight and back to their original color just as quickly once removed from UV light. While only a limited quantity of Crocs Chameleons™ shoes will be available to the public on Friday, May 13, consumers who want “first dibs” on the new shoes can visit www.CrocsChameleons.com starting today to sign up to receive a special link to a pre-sale website.
