Who says bankers are all about money and profits? Not the folks at Tennessee Commerce Bank. Mary Lankford Benson, a Senior Vice President at the bank, started a campaign to send Crocs shoes to the U.S. Army soldiers along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Benson has a very personal tie to the campaign. Earlier this year she married Command Sergeant Major Kevin Benson of the 101st Airborne’s 1st Brigade Combat Team, 327th Infantry before his deployment to Afghanistan. Benson considers the 327th Infantry to be her “adopted” sons.
Crocs Cares has donated 200 pairs of Crocs to kick off the donation campaign and will continue to add to the donations. To learn more about what Tennessee Commerce Bank is doing to support troops, visit the Williamson Herald.

Great gesture!
