New Crocs, New You Employee Make Over

July 6, 2011

Struggling fashionistas from across the country entered the New Crocs, New You contest for a chance to win the grand prize toe-to-head makeover in New York City with national style and beauty expert, Jenn Falik. The contest was inspired by Crocs’ own fashion-forward makeover, which is evident in its stylish spring women’s shoes. To coincide with the national contest, Crocs held an internal employee makeover contest as well, offering our employees the chance to win their very own Crocs makeover. We are happy to tell Retail Support Associate Melissa Fish’s story, the Crocs employee who won our internal New Crocs, New You contest.

“I am originally from California, born and raised! I moved out to Colorado in September of 2010 after wanting to make a fresh start. I started at Crocs in November of 2010 as a Shared Services rep, but then moved into Internet Services & Retail Support right away. Now, I am also a Tier 2 rep! I deal with the customers questions and problems when they arise. Sometimes it can be a bit stressful, but I truly love my job, the people I work with, and the company itself. When I won the makeover, I was in disbelief! I never win anything! Whitney Crean & Jill Carter made my day totally awesome! Jill set the appointment for my hair at Fringe in Louisville, where Judy Dillon did an amazing job with my hair. I gave her full reign on what color and cut to do. I figure you only get a makeover once, right? Jill did my makeup and it was wonderful! People were telling me I looked amazing and the makeup made my face look softer. From the hair salon, we went to Lane Bryant, where Jill already had a lot of clothes picked out and ready to try on. She picked some amazing styles. I never wore a layered look with clothes before, but it turned out awesome! I’m a fan of layers now! I got a couple pairs of cropped jeans, and a lot of awesome tops. Overall, it was an amazing experience, one that I feel blessed to have received. I LOVE CROCS!!”
