How to Wash Your Crocs Mammoth Liners

January 21, 2009

During the cold days of winter, there’s nothing I want to do more when I get home from work is slip into warm, comfy clothes – and my Mammoth Crocs™ shoes.

Every few weeks or so, I look down at my feet and go “YIKES!” Those comfy liners do get dirty when you wear them as much as I do. Well, I’m here to show you how I take care of my liners in a few easy steps!

Step 1 : Remove liner

To do this is pretty simple, but there are best practices to avoid putting too much pressure on the rivets. First, flip the heel portion of the liner so that the liner become loose around the outside of the clog.

Flip Back of Liner

Flip Back of Liner

Next, you’ll want to place your thumb firmly on top of the exterior surface of the rivet and carefully peel liner back, away from the rivet. You’ll then want to repeat that for the other side.

Remove Liner from River

Step 2: Wash liner

Now that the liner is removed, we’ll want to wash it. Hand washing is the only recommended way to wash the liner. I use a mild soap and simply scrub away at the dirt. We do not recommend using bleach.

washliner

After washing, LINE DRY. Do not put in a washing machine. The heat could shrink the liner and, unfortunately, we do not sell replacement liners!

Step 3: Replace Liner

Once the liner is dry, it’s time to put it back onto the clog.

First, Place liner on hand like a glove.  You should be able to stick your hand into the shoe and place the liner so that it reaches all the way to the toe of the shoe.

Now, thread the exterior surface of the rivet through the slot in the liner. Do this for each side.

Place heel portion of the liner over the heel of the shoe and test to make sure liner is in place.

Once that is done, your Mammoth liner should be clean and ready to use again! Of course, if your liner is really worn out, it may be time to purchase a new pair. Check out our assortment of Mammoth products over at Crocs.com!

I am very disappointed in the fact that you do not sell the liners by themselves. At the very least it is a way to sell product. My liners are over a year old and will not come clean anymore. I cannot believe that I am the only one with this situation. My husband was so embarrassed by my wearing them in public that he bought me two new pairs of shoes so that I would no longer wear the crocs outside the house. I will not buy another pair of crocs’ $40.00 rubber shoes that I cannot at least buy a liner for even $20.00 so they look presentable. I will not wear the brown shoe by themselves without the liner. I love them and they are my favorite, but it is the principle of it. I have written to customer service twice only to receive a pre-forumlated response about a newsletter that up to now have never received. In these economic times I am quite surprised that you would not offer the liners for a price since the shoes were not cheap in the first place. You can buy nock-offs for a quarter of the price and toss them when they get dirty for less. Sign me…Very Disappointed!

  2. crocsgeorge says:

    Christie -

I emailed you! You’re definitely not alone in your request but at this time we just don’t offer liners for purchase! I apologize for that inconvenience!

  3. Catherine says:

I threw my daughter’s in the wash and was stunned at what a mess it made of the liners – from fluffy to matted in one wash – and no care instructions on the pair I purchased.

Sadly, she had jumped in a mud puddle the first day she wore them – so they were decent-looking for her exactly one day.

She now wears them only at home.

  4. Donna says:

Come on Crocs! Get eco-friendly and make those replacement liners!

  5. Margaret Arnone says:

OK. This is ridiculous! Crocs, please get eco-friendly and sell us replacement liners! We are your customers. We love your shoes and other products. We are a captive audience! Does the CEO of your company realize that your customers want to BUY additional liners? This would allow us to have several liners. You could wash them out and keep wearing the shoes. You wouldn’t have to wait for them to dry. I just got my first pair of crocs for Christmas. I love them! However, I can tell already that I am going to want an additional pair of liners. Please reconsider!

    • crocsgeorge says:

I’m definitely forwarding all this information to our product development teams! The more feedback we get, the better we can provide our customers with what they want!

  6. Amanda says:

I am in concurrence with the others who have left comments– replacement liners are a must for these shoes, and it’s absurd that they are not already offered. My liners are completely beyond repair; I’ve tried washing them several times and, not only are they completely dirty, but have also begun to make my feet smell bad when I wear them.

I mean, honestly…even Ugg Australia offers replacement sole liners for their boots and their boots are, at the cheapest, three times the price of these Mammoths. I think it’s the least you guys at Crocs can do.

  7. crocsgeorge says:

Thanks Amanda for your input! We’re working on it….

  8. I too am very disappointed that I can’t purchase new liners for our shoes. Please know that people (not wearing crocs) comment on the ugly looking shoes when crocs begin to look dirty. Not good advertising if you ask me.

    Please re-consider~~ soon!

  9. Kevin A says:

I agree, you should really sell replacements! We bought a pair while in Las Vegas and my wife loves her pair but the white liner is BAD!!!! Either make them stain proof or replacements!!! The shoes are still in good shape, we have had them about 2 months but the liner is dirty…… help your customers!!!!

  10. Donah says:

Well, liners sounds like a great idea, if you can get the originals off. I cannot peel them away even with the instructions. The button hole is so tight that I cannot pry it off, and my crocs are filthy.

  11. Robert T says:

I’ve sent an email in concerning this already, but it does help to comment publicly. I too want to buy liners. It just makes sense. How cool would it be to mix and match. I have white liners, and wear mine outside in all but the wettest conditions or deep snow. As such, they get dirty fast. Please start selling them.

  12. M_a_i_K_o says:

Hi! I am writing from Japan. As far as I know replacement liners are sold here in Japan through mail order services at the cost of approximately $20. I don’t know how they get those liners, but they look genuine with crocs logo and tag for size on them. You’d better think about selling Mammoth replacement liners by yourself otherwise this kind of unofficial market won’t disappear.

  13. Charles says:

PLEASE add the replacement liners to your product offering. It is pretty absurd that this product was not in place from the beginning. I can’t see myself purchasing another pair, just to have to buy another in a few months.

  14. Linda Jarman says:

I have been wearing Crocs for about 1 year received the Mammoth for Christmas love them. My 3 yr old twin Grandchildren love the Crocs but this winter we could not find the Crocs in 1/2 sizes so they could not get the Mammoth to fit ,one size was too little and the other too big. We live in a cold climate and would love to be able to fit them in the Mammoth for the cold weather. I think you should at least provide 1/2 sizes for the smaller children’s sizes. Ther is nothing like the comfort of the crocs. I also have some foot problems and this was the answer.

    • crocsgeorge says:

Linda – due to the nature of the product, 1/2 sizing isn’t available at this time! We apologize for any inconvenience!

To everyone else – again, thanks so much for the feedback. All your comments get forwarded to our product team who work day and night to try to make sure your needs are met!

  15. Tom Wood says:

I agree, a liner offering is essential to this product. The liners are like a pair of worn out socks. What if you had to buy a new pair of shoes every time your socks got a hole in them or worn out. No only for the cleanliness, foot fungus, smells, etc, but you could then do liners in different colors for those who what to mix and match. Regardless of what care you do in washing them, the still do not turn out anywhere near the original comfort.

In today’s economy, I think this would boost crocs bottom line.

  16. Breezy says:

Count me as another Mammoth lover who wants replacement liners!!!!

  17. I Davidson says:

I have had pink crocs for just over a year now,the cream liner is disgusting looking, they just don’t look good anymore, come on it is high time that replacements should be available!!!

  18. Nann says:

If you don’t start selling them some knock-off will take away the market from you! – I would actually buy a second liner at purchase if I could…Come on Crocs – your are missing your market and pissing off your customers by by trying to “strong arm” them into buying new shoes – I’ll bet you’ll lose more sales than what you’ll make selling liners!!!

  19. jen says:

i’d probably buy a knock off pair, if liners aren’t offered any time soon. just not worth it to buy a second pair.

  20. d says:

I have been writing to crocs since jan 2008. And always got the premade letter telling me they weren’t offering the liners. In these times, Crocs needs to be “green”.

I think they can start a fun trend with mix and match liners. People can individualize their feet!!

Come on Crocs, listen to the people that want to keep using your product!!

  21. Mary Jane Cooper says:

Amen! Different color liners would be so neat to wear w different ourfits. Get with the program.

  22. crocsgeorge says:

Thanks again for all your responses! All your comments are being directed to the appropriate teams to see what we can do to help with your needs!

  23. Morag MacKay says:

I’ll add my name to the list of those requesting replacement liners.

Mine are over a year old and after many washes and much wear are in dire need of replacement. I think there are a lot of very happy mammoth wearers out there who would be ecstatic if their beloved pair did not become extinct due to needing new liners!! In fact I’d buy more than one pair so I could change them up depending on what I’m wearing. So there is definitely a market out there, the product already exists and is being manufactured, so why the hesitation with making the liners available on their own?

  24. Tom says:

Hi. I have a brand new pair (never been worn) Crocs Mammoth, in Chocolate/Chocolate. One of the buttons on the liners is broken. Is there a way to get a replacement button? My dad gave me this pair, and it has some sentimental value, so I don’t want a totally new pair. I just want the one button to make it perfect. Please help!

  25. Ship says:

Add my family to the list, we would love to see you sell liners, colored ones would be even better. We love our Mammoths and can’t wait to come home from work/school and slip them on. Thanks for listening.

  26. Kathleen says:

Add me to the list of people wanting Crocs to sell replacement liners for the Mammoths.

  27. Tycee says:

YESSSSSS!!!!!!! I’ve needed new liners for SO LONG! Please add my name to the list of those supporting the replacement liners for the Mammoths.

  28. Chelle says:

I think replacement liners are a great way to extend the life of the Mammoths. I know my family would love them! Thanks so much!

  29. Debbie says:

Please, please, please! I love my mammoth crocs and wear them every day.

However, I desperately need replacement liners. My crocs are in perfect condition, and I will not purchase a new pair of crocs just to get a new liner!

If that is the tactic behind Crocs not selling replacement liners, they are using terrible business judgment. There’s a gold mine here for them! I would buy more than one color. I’m hopeful that Crocs will offer replacement liners to their customers soon. It’s ridiculous they don’t. I was stunned when I found out no replacements were available.

  30. Chase Shipley says:

I would love to get replacement liners for my crocs. Sign me up for that!

  31. Clara says:

is it possible to wash crocs with its linen inside? I can’t understand how I can take it away… is there a video to explain it? rivets are hard to move!

  32. Priscilla says:

Hi, I too am interested in purchasing extra liners. I wash my liners about every 7 days, then they take about 30 hours to dry. Thick socks are not as warm as the mammoth liners. I would like a second pair so I can swap them out. My Mammoths are my everyday houseshoes so I really need them!

  33. BRIAN says:

Followed the directions to remove the liner and after pullling and tuging 1 out of four rivets broke. I don’t know how weaker hands remove these.

You do not sell liners. I think I have a great ebay business. I think I can have these made for about $0.75 in China

  34. Bree says:

My liners have holes in the heels and they are stinky even after I wash them. The outsides look new. I NEED new liners not the whole shoe. PLEASE start selling the liners. It is ridiculous to buy a whole new pair just for a clean liner.

  35. Liz says:

First. I would like to be added to the list of consumers aching for additional liners.

Second. For all those trying to get the liners off, I to had a terrible time getting them off. I finally ended up getting one of my husbands thin computer screwdrivers and put it through the hole while holding on to the rivet. Using the screwdriver (must be thin) to help gain leverage and open that tiny hole up a little more was super helpful.

Third. Once the stink set in I had a terrible time getting my sons liners truly clean. After a few attempts I remembered my bottle of Fabreeze. A few squirts and some time outside to air dry followed by a final wash seemed to do the trick.

    • crocsgeorge says:

      Liz -

Thanks for the tip on the Fabreeze! It’s a great one. I pass every comment on this issue to our product team – we are listening. It’s great feedback.

As for trying to get the liners off – I actually don’t have that much trouble. The first time I did I was too gentle – you have to be firm. But then again, you don’t want to break the rivet either. I hope the screwdriver tip helps. Flipping the back end up also helped me – gives you more leverage to tug…

Again – thanks for the comments!

  36. Amanda says:

My “fuzzy” crocs are my favorite pair of shoes. I wear them as bedroom shoes, casual shoes, and have been known to ditch my heels at work and worn them as dress shoes. I’ve had the same pair for 1.5 years and wear them every day.

To my complete shock and dismay, I put them on yesterday and they didn’t fit. It was like the liner was all bunched up on the inside, and my foot wouldn’t fit. Is this even possible? Considering my addiction to the shoes, I know that I am not making this up. My feet do not fit inside anymore. My feet are not swollen, and haven’t grown overnight. What happened? Any suggestions on what to do? My husband is getting tired of my pouting.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

    • crocsgeorge says:

      Amanda -

Have you tried to remove the liner and reinsert it? If you use your hand to rearrange the liner – you should be able to realign them and, hopefully, resolve the problem. Outside of actually seeeing it – that’s about the best advice I can give. You can follow the directions on this post to learn how to remove the Liner.

      ~Crocs George

  37. Amanda says:

I did take the liner out. The liner outside the shoe fits fine. It’s as if the liner doesn’t fit the shoe itself. It is very bunchy (for lack of a better phrase). I’ve read on other sites that crocs can shrink in hot weather. I live in North Carolina. I did leave my shoes in the car on Monday. The temperature that day was round 78 degrees. I am not sure how hot it got inside the car. Is it possible that rubber part shrank?

I am honestly at a loss. These are my favorite shoes, and they all of a sudden don’t fit.

  38. Laura says:

My sister gave me a great tip for removing the liners. Take a small pair of sharply pointed scissors and make a small cut in the liner on either side of the hole. (You can do this while the liner is still on the rivet.) Don’t make the cut too long at first. You should now be able to pull the liner off more easily. If it still won’t budge, make the cuts a little longer until you can pull off the liner without struggling.

    Hope this helps.

Oh, and DEFINITELY put me on the ever-growing list of customers wanting those replacement liners.

  39. Linda says:

I just washed my liners today and I’m sad to say they don’t look any different than before. They still look dirty. I’ll put in my 2 cents for selling new liners, but I have noticed that all the previous comments saying the same thing have done any good. My husband and I both have 2 pair (one lined and one not lined). Our son-in-law calls them Betty Crockers (he has no use for them-but his wife and kids love them). We love our Crocs, why don’t you listen to us?

  40. Kate says:

I also desperately need new liners. My Mammoth shoe is in perfect condition, but the liners stink and are dirty and hulled.

Please add me to the list of customers who would like to buy replacement liners.

  41. Meg says:

Another one for the replacement liners! I’m going to go try to wash mine, but I don’t have much hope :o (

I have one more request for the Mammoths – make a pair of Mammoths with more traction on the bottom. I live in Northern Maine, and we have ice from November – April. I can’t wear Crocs outside for 5-6 months out of the year which really stinks.

  42. K says:

I also need replacement liners! I love my Croc Mammoths but will not buy another pair of crocs until replacement liners are offered. This is a HUGE disappointment! Seems to me to just be a way for the company to try to get you to buy new shoes just for the liner! Huge disappointment.

  43. jen says:

My daugher and all her friends at school have the pink mammoth crocs, and they all look dingy and dirty…its the dingy croc crew for sure. but they love em. i am going to try some of the advice here and wash ours. seriously within 2 days of owning them, i thought my daughter had her friends old ones by accident, they got dirty THAT quick. How about a different color maybe when you bring liners to the market…how fun to be able to switch between colors :) . i also tried to put a jibbitz in hers so she can tell hers from the other girls pink shoes, but i couldn’t get it in b/c of the liner. :(

thanks for the wash instructions. will post afterwards.

  44. jane wanke says:

I love the fit of ther mammouth crocs, however, I have been trying for days to get the liners out. the button holes are obviously too small for the rivets to slip out of them. Seems to me heavy duty snaps would work much better. I either have to break the rivets trying to get the liners out or buy a new pair of crocs. These shoes are not inexpensive!! I will not not another pair.

    • crocsgeorge says:

You can stretch the liner holes – don’t be afraid to pull hard. The first few times I did it, I felt like I was going to rip the liner. But it’s really hard to rip. If you do break the rivets, you can contact our customer service and they will take care of you….

  45. MarianneD says:

I just purchased a pair for my husband and he LOVES them. His feet get cold in our century home without more than socks on his feet, and even socks in crocs without the liners isn’t enough. If you were to add replacement liners to your inventory, not only would I purchase an extra pair for him, but I would purchase a pair of mammoths with an extra pair of liners for myself!

Until liners are available, I will only wear my crocs with extra socks and don’t consider it work investing in a pair of mammoths for myself.

  46. JBen says:

    Crocs George-

Hey–that product team you mentioned…here is a suggetion regarding the Mammoth Liners…

tell them to MAKE MORE !!!!!!!! we need new liners Crocs George…you are our only hope !!! Help us Obi Wan Crocs George !!!

    –JBen

    • crocsgeorge says:

Oh – Star Wars Reference FTW!

The word is out. We have some smart people here. They’re figuring out all the details behind the scenes to see if they can make it work. They are much smarter than I am so I let them do their job. I just let them know what everyone is saying!

  47. Marilyn says:

I would also like to be able to get new liners for my Crocs. The shoes still look good but the liners are discusting and won’t come clean anymore. The shoes can’ be worn without the liners because they are too big then. Thank you!

  48. Jenny says:

I found a great way to clean the liners! After reading all of the blogs, I knew that I was going to have to get creative because my son’s red liners were stinky and black! I soaked them in cold water and Woolite for an hour, then looking at my puppy, I got it! After they soaked, I took my puppy’s soap and scrubbed them very gently with an old vegetable brush (both I had picked up from Target for a couple of dollars, then rinsed thoroughly. They came out so clean and soft and they didn’t sink at all! Hooray for puppy soap! I also sprayed with Febreze for good measure, but it wasn’t really necessary. I hope this helps! Also, George, thank you so much for your patience with all of our griping.

    • crocsgeorge says:

      Jenny -

It’s not griping. It’s a legitimate concern. I may work here but I, too, own a pair. The original post’s “how-to” was written because I didn’t know to do it myself!! We want all constructive comments so we can provide you with the best possible products now and in the future as we grow into the best company we can be.

  49. Carol F says:

I was so excited to receive my mammoth crocs! At last, warm feet in comfy shoes without twisted socks. Wonderful! Today, I decided to clean the liners, so I found this blog. The directions for removal of the liner sounds simple, but the button holes are very small and it’s difficult to get the liners off. If someone with arthritis were trying to get them off, it would be impossible. Perhaps a snap in place of the rivet would be better.

The instructions on this very blog state, “Hand washing is the only recommended way to wash the liner…”

In direct contradiction to that statement, the liner tag states, “machine wash cold with like colors…” Please correct either the tag or the blog, as this can confuse customers.

I agree with the other comments that it is ridiculous for crocs to avoid a great up-sale opportunity by selling liners separately. I know I would buy them.

Great shoes, very comfy, but let’s hope we see some improvements soon.

  50. crocsgeorge says:

All I can say right now is that the wheels are in motion. I will update everyone when something is official. I appreciate everyone being patient with us!

  51. Willma says:

I vote for extra liners. I got mine out, but it was hard to do.

  52. Mark says:

Ok Crocs George you can add me to the list! I own two identical pairs of Mammoths so I can literately wash and wear at the same time! Now the liners are just matted down and nothing is like a fresh mammoth liner. Please get someone to step on the gas and get the wheels rolling faster. The market is ready and I would pick up the pace before others fill the mammoth gap (pun intended).

  53. Peggy says:

Never have my feet smelled like the stench that was wafting from the soiled liners. So I washed them, put them back in and they reeked within 3 days. So, it had to be the warmed liner coating against the shoe. Washed them again, and before I snapped them back into place slipped (get this!) a thin panty liner pad between the liner and the shoe. Even sprayed it with a little Fabreeze for insurance, and VOILA!!! Going on a month now and no more stink. I am back to loving my crocs!

  54. Andrew says:

I wash and scrub my girl’s liners all the time. They get dirty so easily.

Now the Croc moderator says liner replacements are on the way. I’m surprised that it took a year and a half. These things are not so hard for any company.

    Something is fishy about this.

If it turns out that they redesign the Mammoth and will only offer liners for the new design, I’ll (hopefully) find a knock-off and never by a croc product again.

  55. Donna says:

I (used to) wear my Crocs all the time — while gardening, taking the dog for a walk, etc. I used to wear them when I’d run to the store, but not any longer. They’re too dirty. I’ve washed them in the washing machine, which really does work well — contrary to popular belief. HOWEVER, if replacement liners were available, I’d be all over them! Why would I want to spend another $40 on a pair of shoes that are worthless once they get dirty? Hurry with the replacement liners, pleeeeeease!

  56. Eileen says:

Thanks this is a great tutorial—it’s just a bit late. My sons Mammoth Crocs have already been through the washer since the tag on the liner said MACHINE WASH COLD and LINE DRY.

Have just pulled the liners out for a good thorough hand washing. I am hoping that my Euclan Wool Wash will help to not only clean them but fluff them up a bit.

It would be a great customer service if these cleaning instructions came WITH the shoes.

I’m glad to hear that replacement liners are now available. I’m just surprised it took so lone.

  57. Summer says:

Replacement liners have been available for almost a year, but not through Crocs. Go to http://www.tabajacks.com. The have all sorts of colors and styles. Just say that they are for mammoths when you order and they wont add the button to the front! Enjoy!

  58. steve says:

I think it is time for me to clean mine up and put them away for the summer. I do use them most of the time for the past 4 months. My liner is brown so it doesn’t look dirty to me.

I’m wondering if people are wearing them with no socks? I wear socks all the time with them, they are not as fuzzy as they were though. I hope cleaning them will fuzz them back up. love these things!

  59. Michelle says:

After buying Mammoths for my two little ones and seeing how horrible they look after being worn less then 30 times, I will not buy myself a pair, regardless of how comfortable they look and how much I might like to.

If liners were available through Crocs I would not hesitate to buy a pair, but the lack of replacement liners has made them a poor choice for my needs.

  60. Susan Fitch says:

Please start selling liners for our croc shoes. I’ve put mine in the machine several times. I have a high energy efficient machine. They wash very well, but I have to put in the whole shoe and the liner with it inside.

You really need to reconsider about selling croc liner shoes, as I own five pairs.

Please help your customers. My liners are really worn out.

    Thank you,

    Mrs. Fitch

  61. Summer says:

Go to http://www.tabajacks.com. They have liners for all rubber clogs in all different colors!

  62. Heidi Bullock says:

I have a pair of the mamoth crocs i need a new pair of liners i have had them for 2 years they are worn You really should start selling the liners i cant wear them with out because then they are too big

  63. Cheryl says:

I think it’s pathetic that an aftermarket company has to emerge to fulfill a customer demand in this day and age. Crocs should be ashamed that Tabajacks is stealing their thunder. You are already making liners for your lined Croc product, just double the order and sell the liners. I am shocked that this even requires discussion.

  64. Richrd Arnold says:

Your failure to sell replacement mammoth liners is like asking people to buy a new car when their tires become worn. You’re missing the boat CrocGeorge.

  65. Crocs Fans!

We are in the process of getting liners ready for sale. We have listened to you and appreciate all your feedback but it’s not as simple as flipping the switch and selling the liners. They need to be build, pass quality control, and brought into our warehouses – which take time. Please be patient and look for them sometime before next winter. I’ll update you as soon as I know more!

Thanks again for your support and keep letting us know what we can do as a company to provide you with best you can get. Quality and comfort are our virtues – it’s what we strive to deliver – and your feedback helps us accomplish everything!

    ~George Smith for Crocs, Inc

  66. B says:

Thank you to those who suggest tabajacks.

To George Smith I say… too little, too late. How can you be “in the process of getting liners ready for sale’? You already sell them IN THE CROCS. It’s not rocket science.

It’s just too easy to buy knock off Crocs from now on. Had you made liners available, I might have felt it worth the trouble to continue buying real Crocs. Clearly other companies are doing a better job reacting to your customers’ needs than you are.

  67. Beth says:

My 4-yr-old son has had Croc Mammoths since last fall. I have to admit that they look terrible despite washing them as directed several times. They are completely matted and full of lint. Even when they are “clean”, they look VERY dirty. My son would surely wear these another season — but the liners are just unacceptable due to the liners. I would NOT purchase another pair for ANY of my 3 sons UNLESS Crocs would make the liners more durable/cleanable AND make the replacement liners available. We really like these shoes – it would be GREAT if the liners could be available so we could continue wearing them!

  70. Abbie says:

I too want to purchase replaceent liners for my mammoth crocs. Lots of life left in the shoe but the liners are done.

  71. Je says:

One of the buttons broke when I was removing the liner. Would you please send me a new one?

  72. MD Barnhart says:

Ok I can see I am not the only one with the NEED NEW LINERS problem. Come on make us some replacements already. I have a pair of Crocs that the color is not available anymore. So I want to bring new life to these old friends with a new pair of liners. You won’t lose money I promise. I have my entire family sold on Crocs. My 6 year old granddaughter LOVES her Crocs won’t wear anything else. She has a pair in every color to match her outfits. Come on replacement lines…. You won’t be sorry.

  73. H.Goulding says:

Put me on the list for new liners. What a dissapointment when my very much loved and talked about mammoths turned into embarrassing, dirty-looking and smelly shoes. No matter how much you wash them by the instructions. I keep looking on-line hoping the likes of Shannon Lush may give a great tip to washing them to get them back to new. Alternatively I would be first to purchase a new lining!!!!!

  74. Summer says:

Replacement liners have been available for almost a year, but not through Crocs. Go to http://www.tabajacks.com. The have all sorts of colors and styles, for all rubber clogs. Just note that they are for mammoths when you order and they wont add the button to the front! Enjoy!

  75. Sharon says:

I need a replacement liner for my Crocs, my precious dog chewed on my liner so I desperately need some ASAP…

  76. Lois says:

I bought mammoths for my husband thinking he would never wear them. He loves them and they are filthy. However, after reading this blog I am afraid to remove the liner to handwash. If I can’t get them back on or ruin them, I can’t buy new liners. Bad Crocs company for not selling new liners. Obviously, you want to make more money, but that is a complete ripoff. I guess I’ll have to live with his very dirty liner.

  78. Summer says:

Who ever Brian was, I love him! I think he is exactly correct!

  79. Margie says:

why is it such a problem to make liners? You make them for the original crocs.

just make MORE, and MORE for resale.

  80. Jody says:

Replacement liners are a must! I’m certainly not buying another pair of crocs just so they can be soft and cozy inside like they were for months. They’re over a year old and not comfy anymore. Very worn. Please consider selling replacement liners.

  81. Susan says:

As a FAITHFUL and devoted walking advertisement for CROCS for over 5 years, I am aghast that replacement liners do not exist. The liners are already being produced -just how hard is it to package and sell them separately from the shoe? DUH! McFly! This is ridiculous.

For what its worth, I will NOT be manipulated and forced to buy another pair of CROCS just to get replacement liners -if thats your company’s angle -well, its bad business and unfortunate because you will be losing a faithful and devoted customer.

If needs be, I’ll make my own and then set up myself a little cottage industry cranking out gazillions of replacement liners to sell on EBAY. I imagine I will be a millionaire shortly. Your loss.

  82. claire says:

HELLO, I too own a pair of crocs and the liners have now started to fray and are worse for wear.

I appreciate that the wheels and clogs (sorry cogs!) of industry turn ever so slowly but surely someone must realise just how huge a market is out there for replacement liners (and therefore profit!!!!!).

Surely it would be quite easy to obtain spare stocks of liners and say, sell them to the people who bothered to enquire here about them so we can test them out and give a true and realistic feedback to your research and development team.

Think about it. I’m in for one!!!!

  83. Brian Parkinson says:

    Liners.

This line of communication has been ongoing for over six months. That liners are not available as a separate purchase is unacceptable.

It speaks very badly for Crocs as a company. The liners are not an intrinsic part of the mammoth and so must be manufactured separately and so could be made available.

I join other posters who will no longer by Crocs products and will go out of my way to persuade others not to purchase them either. When people are so conscious of the need to recycle I am sure my headings will not fall on deaf ears.

  84. samantha san agustin says:

i think it’s CRAP that i can’t find steeler mammoth crocs ANYWHERE! i do a search for them and all that keeps coming up are the kids ones and i can’t even get those because they don’t have bigger sizes for me to just get the largest ones! i’m finding every team in those BUT steelers, only the beach crocs and those aren’t the ones i want! i was told from a lady at the crocs store that they weren’t going to be selling the steeler mammoth ones anymore, but why is it that you can still get them in every other team? if that’s true i think you need to reconsider that decision because as of right now if i can’t find those i will never purchase a pair of crocs. and as for selling the liners seperately, if yins sold them seperate i could ATLEAST buy a pair of black ones and get the liner, and if yins are going to eventually make it so you can buy liners seperate i think you should definitely think about having ALL of the NFL teams available.

    • Samantha -

Part of the reason that there isn’t any Steeler’s Mammoth’s is because they sell so fast due to the tenacity and loyalty of Steeler fans. As for the future of the product, I’m not completely sure but I will look into it. I’m pretty sure that the Steelers are one of our top teams – they after all are one of the more popular NFL teams – and I know many people hoping that we are making them. I’ll try to provide an update as soon as possible.

  85. Helena says:

come on crocs get with the game plan….

i’m not going to buy a new pair of crocs to get a new pair of liners that will last a couple of months before the flattened, smelly, defluffed look kicks in. sell me some liners and i will become a regular returning customer.

    is anyone listening to us??

  86. Janice says:

In additional to offering replacement liners, is it possible to have machine-washable liners? There are many things that you can wash in cold water and in delicate mode that don’t shrink. My daughters liners are covered in grass clippings that stick to the lining. Hand washing is not really doing the trick.

    Thanks.

  87. Patty says:

Janice, I’ve actually washed the kids’ Mammoths in the washing machine with the liners still inside. They didn’t come out any fluffier, but they were quite a bit cleaner after I soaked them for a while before washing them… and they definitely smell better! I just air-dried them, I think putting them in the drier woudl be a mistake… I STILL would like to purchase reasonably priced replacement liners- our family owns many pairs of the Mammoths as well as other styles of Crocs and this is quite frustrating.

  88. Samantha says:

I looked at this post, and the subsequent comments and thought i would reach the bottom to find that this replacement liner problem had been rectified.. sadly not.

I can’t help but agree with everyone else that replacement liners just seem like such an easy way for Crocs to keep customers happy, make a helluva lot of money (as i know i wouldn’t be able to restrict myself to just the one pair if i had many choices in front of me) ..the external link for the liners that has been posted has already caught my eye and i’m very tempted to try those out considering it doesn’t look like Crocs are in any rush to deliver a product that they already produce.

Come on Crocs.. pull your fingers out eh?!

  89. Ann Della Rocca says:

I too like all the other customers love my croc slippers and am dissapointed that i cannot buy the liners seperate. i wash my liners by hand and they still dont come clean!!! i am very dissapointed because i was once told that they were going to start selling them by christmas and i am still waiting now. please start selling them so i havent got to folk out another 40 whole pounds for another pair. Remember the customers always right! Come on croc’s put your customers before your profits!!!!

    waiting in anticipation!! :)

  90. Kimberly G says:

Adding my voice to those who want the liners available seperately. My kids wear out the liner in a matter of weeks! I have several pairs of Mammoths for me and the hubby and we don’t wear half of them because the liners are dingy. Please start selling replacement liners.

  91. Christie Robinson says:

Time Marches On! It is now September and I see that Crocs was able to create a new plaid liner for a line of clogs…but still no liners to purchase separately! Tabajacks are sold out, so their site says. No matter how much I love crocs I will not purchase another pair until they begin to sell the liners separately. I would purchase another pair if only I could still use my already purchased pair! It is just a matter of principle at this point. Listen to your customers! It is a win-win situation for everyone. You will ultimately sell more product. I don’t understand your marketing principles and believe that without good customer service a company deserves to fail. Help me understand your philosophy, please.

  92. Tricia Linder says:

This is the first time I have searched for a replacement liner for my Crocs and as everyone else has shared-extremely disappointed in the company. The product already exists. I would think it would only take new product numbers and ordering more to set this up on-line for customers. What happened to customer service and providing products the customers want, isn’t that why companies exist. What can we do for consumer power….put our voice out on facebook and twitter to strike against Crocs until this is provided….maybe our voices aren’t big enough. How many does it take for Crocs to listen and provide a product for us.

  93. m.murphy says:

when will everyone figure out that they arent going to make replacement liners? They dont have to!! Several of the posts on here say you have several pairs. Why on earth would you keep buying them knowing their liners turned to junk in a few months…So glad I came here BEFORE I bought a pair…now I still have the 40bux in my pocket.

  94. cheryl b. says:

My liners were smelling terrible so I put some Anti Monkey Butt Powder in them and it removed the smell. You can get the powder at Farm and Fleet or Ace Hardware.

  95. Suzette says:

George, Back in April you said that liners were going to be out before winter. Are they going to be available soon? The liner in my crocs is totally crushed and I’m in desperate need of new ones. If they will be available soon, I’ll wait, but if not I’m going to need to buy a pair of slippers.

  96. margie says:

Suzette..buy some slippers…They dont have to sell liners without new crocs, because they dont Have to…

where are those liners made anyway? Why don`t I think they are made in the USA??????????Somebody please correct me if I`m wrong.

  97. Ellie says:

    Yeah -what they said…

I took my liners out to wash and the button broke off on one of them. And NOW I can’t even get replacement liners? Ridiculous. I have taken to wearing my Crocs only when I’m in the dirt -gardening. And I won’t consider getting another pair.

  98. Rachel says:

Any news – when are these liners coming out?

  99. Donna says:

    http://www.crocs.com/crocs-mammoth-liner/39016,default,pd.html?cid=295&cgid=men-fuzz-collection

So is the problem now that they’re on the website, but no sizes available???

  100. Becky says:

Replacement liners please. I have the stinkiest feet ever.

  101. Peggy says:

Add me to the list of people waiting for new liners for my son’s STINKY Crocs – which he loves! He is currently wearing them w/out the liners because I shrunk the others trying to get them clean(er).

  102. We now have Mammoth Liners for Sale: http://bit.ly/CrocsMammothLiners

They are just arriving in inventory, so if they appear to not have any in stock – check back in a few days. I thought this would make many people happy and show that we’re listening to our customers! Thanks for your patience!!!
