Cheers to 2012! We’re look forward to another rewarding year of growth among our brand, employees and amazing customers!
This week, I want to write a few posts to reflect our most memorable “Crocs moments” of 2011. From compelling new products to the discovery of new celebrity brand advocates, 2011 was a great year for the Crocs brand. So lets take a look shall we?
Today let’s talk product. “What… Those are Crocs?!?”
Style: Our women’s beautiful translucents collection was revealed. A stunning yet comfortable “jelly” like shoe that looked great both dressed up or down.
Comfort: We launched the “Crocs Hover Sneaker.” Some were skeptical, “those are Crocs?” But after slipping on that 7 oz shoe heads were turned at the profound comfort and modern look and feel.
Innovation: Can your shoes change color? Now they can! Our AMAZING product team developed material, that when exposed to UV rays or temperature change-colors. Just wait for what exciting new concepts come out in 2012

New shoes, Jerseys and much needed caffeine

Mark your calendars, this weekend Crocs celebrates the grand opening of three new concept stores! We’re ecstatic to have the opportunity to display our new innovative line of product in a compelling new retail experience and atmosphere. The new concept stores are located in three busy shopping destinations: Mall of America in Bloomington, MN, Barton Creek in Austin, TX, and Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC.
“This new concept store is a key part of our long-term strategic plan. We set out to merchandise our diverse product mix, as well as create a space that is flexible and can adapt to our evolving brand direction and merchandising offering,” said John McCarvel, President and CEO of Crocs, Inc. During the grand opening weekend at the Mall Of America, Crocs will donate up to 500 pairs of Crocs shoes for every smile card made by a customer to the SuperSibs!
Foundation. Customers will have the opportunity to stop by the area to briefly write a message and decorate a card for a sibling whose brother or sister is battling cancer. This Saturday the Crocs Cares team were among many Denver volunteers to join the 9NEWS (KUSA) crew in assisting with the annual 9Cares Colorado Shares food drive! In our efforts to support the community our team additionally donated 1000 pairs of shoes to the Volunteers of America foundation. For 29 years, 9NEWS (KUSA) has organized the 9Cares Colorado Shares Food Drive. This has been Colorado’s largest one-day drive thanks to the thousands of people who volunteer time and donate food.
Giving back is a strong part of Crocs’ culture, and the Crocs Cares℠ program provides a platform for Crocs employees to support organizations that benefit local and global communities alike.
