Through Crocs Cares, we have had the pleasure of partnering with amazing organizations across the globe to help provide shoes to the people that need them the most.

Crocs provided hip and knee replacement surgery patients with lightweight shoes to help make picking up their feet and walking more comfortable post-surgery.

Operation Walk Denver is the Colorado branch of a global health campaign that provides free   surgical treatments to patients in developing countries like Panama, Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic as well as patients in the U.S. The organization helps patients in need of advanced surgical orthopedic treatments who suffer from debilitating bone and joint conditions such as arthritis, and do not have access to medical care.

Melissa was there to provide shoes post-op for patients as they took their first step with new knees or hips. Oftentimes the people in these regions have little or no access to medical care, and most cannot afford proper footwear. Additionally, most of the patients we outfitted in Panama live in climates where Crocs™ shoes are naturally the “perfect shoe” as Crocs are light-weight, easy- to-clean, durable and comfortable.

Thanks to Crocs employees, $2,376 dollars was raised through our shoe sale over the Holidays. The money was donated yesterday, March 7th, by our CEO John McCarvel, Melissa Koester and Cindy Davis, to a local Boulder, CO organization, There With Care. There With Care supports  services for children and families facing critical illness.

This year we recieve tons of donations from Crocs employees! A LIFE ASCENDING is an award winning documentary about mountain guide Rueidi Beglinger and his family who live on a remote glacier in the Selkirk Mountains. While Skis and Boots are required in the harsh conditions outside, Crocs are the footwear of choice inside the chalet. www.alifeascending.com

Check out this great Fox 31 Denver News segment showcasing one very special group of Boulder Country School students that put their creativity to the test by designing their very own Crocs shoes! The students worked directly with Crocs product development employees, to learn and understand the process it takes to design and produce our shoes.

All of the students who participated in the design contest were able to get their very own version of their shoe designs created by Crocs. To spice up the competition, the principle agreed to wear a pair of the winning student’s shoe design for a week! Which to his luck, the winning style was a pair of cute, pink girls shoe.

On January 12th Crocs partnered up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make the wishes of the eight little girls come true. Each girl magically became “Princess For A Day” at the Quicken Loans area in Cleveland, OH for the Disney On Ice “Dare To Dream” event.

Each Princess received a pair of Crocs, a Scalloped Flitty Purse and a Giant Croc prop( we had to throw one in, they tend to be a fan favorite). The girls decorated and “dazzled” their new Crocs with Jibbitz for their very own pretty princess fashion show. Finally, the girls had the chance to meet Cinderella, an exciting finish to a truly magical day.

This Holiday season, Crocs Cares partnered with The Boys and Girls Club and Shaquille O’Neal to celebrated “Shaq-A-Claus“; A charitable event, that provided family fun, music, and donations to local families.

Our combined efforts allowed us to distribute shoes to 400 families in the Orlando, FL community. Additionally, each family received a twenty-five pound box of food from Feed The Children as they were leaving.

Shaq-A-Claus surprised the children with gifts and offered to take photos with the children’s families. Truly touching many hearts in the Orlando community as well as those within the Crocs team.
